Transfer skills

Organising and attending Conferences, Forums, Seminars, Roundtable talks, Trainings and Workshops offers early career to researchers, students, policy makers, CSO managers and the general public an opportunity to develop transferable skills attractive to many industries and organisations.

Networking

Our Conference, Forums, Seminars and Workshop planning provides opportunities for trainees, researchers, students, policy makers, CSO managers and the general public to practice networking skills with Enviro-Climate Professionals and senior scientists. CESI for the past years have been involved in attending and organizing professional development conference, Forums, Seminars and Workshops both local and International.

Delegation

Finally, CESI emphasizes that groups involved in planning and attending a conference, forum, seminar and workshop should not limit their participation to their area of comfort. “Collaboratively, we bounce everything off each other, so as much as we delineate things, the others of us are equipped to take over.” Besides helping the conference run more smoothly, this practice allows every, researchers, students, policy makers, CSO managers and the general public involved to improve skill sets with which they may initially feel less confident, and leave the process with a broad repertoire of transferrable skills that can be applied whether they pursue an academic or non-academic career path in the future. www.cesiug.org/symposiumsandforums/upcomingevent
